On Friday, Feb. 26, physics teacher Andy Bricker earned the Kansas State Department of Education’s Horizon Award as an exemplary novice educator.
Choir Director Cathy Crispino was presented the District Secondary Education Teacher of the Year Award by Superintendent Rick Doll, Monday, March 1.
Students kindergarten to 12th grade do not have school from Friday, March 12 – Sunday, March 21, for spring break.
There will be a Douglas County 4-H competition from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in the auditorium.
The varsity baseball team, ranked 37th nationally, will be playing its first game against Blue Springs South High School at 7 p.m. Friday, March 26, at the LHS stadium.
