Quick question: Is it alright to add students after they graduate high school? I do not add students while they are in high school (NO way), but I have accepted them after they graduated. Would this be ok, or is it too risky? I still want to stay in touch with some of the students once they leave high school, but I want to make sure it doesn’t violate any rules.

I figure that once they are no longer affiliated with ____ High School, it would be ok. I still keep my Facebook very bland and boring. Would accepting requests after high school graduation be too soon? Is there any time that would be better? After college, etc.?

Well, the teachers are just trying to keep it less crowded and less troublesome for those children trying to get to class who don’t want to be in trouble. Another part of me agrees to that though, we don’t need 11 TEACHERS. That there, might be over doing it by a hair. Okay, a wig full of hair. But, they are doing the best they can and I give them credit for that at the most. One day, they may rue it but someday we may just have to thank them for all they have done.

That is absurd! I mean our school makes us wear I.D. tags all the time for security, but 11 teachers in one place to “patrol” ………… what do they expect, a full scale riot? and I mean if it is intimidating students that is reason enough to most to stop.

Honestly, for students intent on just getting from one class to another, the teachers are helping. It takes a lot less time to get from place to place. As for it actually being about safety, most of the threats are just talk. I don’t think there have been many fights due to accidental bumps, but I do agree that the threats shouldn’t happen. I guess I’m saying, way to go teachers, you make life convenient.
